Durham is a city filled with art and creativity so we thought we would base our latest poll on just that… ART.

This program is free and open to the public… so that means all poetry lovers are welcome. Even if you aren’t sure that poetry is your thing, swing by and give it a try! Guest readers include Zelda Lockhart, Dianne Timblin, Melissa Chamberlain, Donald Bradsher, and Gerald Leon Brinkley. We will also be featuring students form Montessori Community School!

Fridays are always the best, don’t you think? This Friday is extra special, what you didn’t know? Yes, today is no ordinary Friday it is Flashback Friday. As you wind down from a busy work week, step back a few decades (ouch, decades) and try your hand at one of these classic 80’s puzzles.
Choose from a Rubix Cube, Van Halen, Prince, Madonna, and many more. I was never good at these… even back then. Whose to say I can’t show em’ how it’s done now?

Have you been to a Duke Baseball game yet? Well why not?
There are plenty games left for you to see but don’t wait until the last minute to get your tickets! Duke is set to face off against High Point tomorrow at 6:00pm, it’s sure to be a good game!
There’s no better way to watch a Duke game then decked out in Duke garb! Keep your eyes peeled for the weekly web specials online! This week hoodies are at all time low prices so don’t miss out on getting yours.

It is time ti SPRING forward! This is your happy reminder that Sunday is Daylight Saving Time! Be sure to set your clocks ahead one hour on Saturday night.
I hate and love springing forward. Hate because we have to lose an hour of MUCH NEEDED SLEEP, abut love because it means Spring is fast approaching… and Spring time means chirping birds, sunshine, beautiful flowers, and happy smiling faces here at West Village!
